The clamshell pipe cold cutter is ideal for all types of pipe cold cutting, beveling and end preparation. The split frame design allows the machine to split in half at the frame and mount around the OD of the in-line pipe or fittings for strong, stable clamping. The equipment performs precision in-line cut or simultaneous cut/bevel, counterbore operations, as well as weld end preparation on open ended pipe, Ranging from 3/4” to 56 inches O.D.(DN20-1400), on most wall thicknesses and material.

เครื่องบากท่อ ID-Mounted & OD-Mounted Pipe Beveling Machine
The ID-Mounted beveling machine operation utilizes an expandable mandrel which is slid into the open end of the pipe. A draw nut is tightened, which expands the mandrel blocks up a ramp and against the ID surface for positive mounting, self centered and squared to the bore. As the tool bit is fed into the material from the end, a bevel is produced which conforms to the angle predetermined by the angle ground into the bit. Bits are available for practically any material or beveling angle required, and bits can be custom made for any form tooling operation.

Machine a V bevel in a plate up to 200 mm thick for butt welding or edge conditioning with a chamfer angle of 15° to 60° at a automatic feed speed of up to 1.4 meters/minute. The rigid frame incorporates steel where required and aluminum casting where permissible to optimize strength and ergonomics. The motorized feeding process is achieved over hardened work plates with sliding rollers, all driven by two 90 shore polyurethane wheels.
