Euroboor Tungsten Carbide Tipped (SANDVIK) Annular Cutters with a drill depth of 30-55 mm are equipped with a spiral flute which creates optimum chip removal and makes seizure next to impossible. These carbide cutting tools are used to drill in hardened materials such as HARDOX steel, stainless steels and high tensile strength steel such as railway tracks. Because of their composition, and when used in a proper way, these TCT cutting tools 30-55 mm are less susceptible to breakage than High Speed Steel Cutters, especially in larger diameters and lengths.

The clamshell pipe cold cutter is ideal for all types of pipe cold cutting, beveling and end preparation. The split frame design allows the machine to split in half at the frame and mount around the OD of the in-line pipe or fittings for strong, stable clamping. The equipment performs precision in-line cut or simultaneous cut/bevel, counterbore operations, as well as weld end preparation on open ended pipe, Ranging from 3/4” to 56 inches O.D.(DN20-1400), on most wall thicknesses and material.

The ID-Mounted beveling machine operation utilizes an expandable mandrel which is slid into the open end of the pipe. A draw nut is tightened, which expands the mandrel blocks up a ramp and against the ID surface for positive mounting, self centered and squared to the bore. As the tool bit is fed into the material from the end, a bevel is produced which conforms to the angle predetermined by the angle ground into the bit. Bits are available for practically any material or beveling angle required, and bits can be custom made for any form tooling operation.
