The clamshell pipe cold cutter is ideal for all types of pipe cold cutting, beveling and end preparation. The split frame design allows the machine to split in half at the frame and mount around the OD of the in-line pipe or fittings for strong, stable clamping. The equipment performs precision in-line cut or simultaneous cut/bevel, counterbore operations, as well as weld end preparation on open ended pipe, Ranging from 3/4” to 56 inches O.D.(DN20-1400), on most wall thicknesses and material.

45°, 30°, 60° chamfers

The most economic way to mill 45°, 30°, 60° chamfers. The chamfer milling machine is used whenever predefined chamfers must be machined and is employed for the preparation of weld seams. This handy and powerful machine can also be utilised to produce visible edges. Furthermore, the machine can also be used to deburr sharp corners safely. Equipped with a radial mechanical stop, which is used as guide roller, the tool can also be used to machine inside contours and pipes.

Machine a V bevel in a plate up to 200 mm thick for butt welding or edge conditioning with a chamfer angle of 15° to 60° at a automatic feed speed of up to 1.4 meters/minute.  The rigid frame incorporates steel where required and aluminum casting where permissible to optimize strength and ergonomics. The motorized feeding process is achieved over hardened work plates with sliding rollers, all driven by two 90 shore polyurethane wheels.
